Join us to Sketch in the Park! This open-air sketching class in the beautiful country park will provide you with the skills necessary to create great preliminary drawings for your paintings . Guided by Liddy we'll begin with some gentle drawing exercises and then get out on a planned route around the park as we take a number of different scenes. Whether you are a beginner or a more experienced artist, this class will help you improve your sketching abilities in a relaxed, natural setting. We will provide all drawing materials, but you will need a sketchbook. There is a price option to include a sketchbook when booking Fri 25th April 10.30am Sat 3rd May 10.30am Fri 20th June 10.30am Meeting at the Meadow Brown Cafe we'll introduce the sessions and then you'll be guided throughout by our very friendly, and knowledgeable art tutor, Liddy. However you are free to take as much or as little guidance as you like and we certainly won't restrict your creative flair. Please arrive around 10 minutes before the event begins Our events are recommended for anyone over the age of 14 Car entry into the park is not included in the price Liddy is the creative force and main tutor with Something Less Boring. She is a qualified Illustrator and also a qualified teacher. Liddy taught art for over 10 years at secondary school level before leaving to found Something Less Boring in 2017 with the aim of bringing art and sport to all ages regardless of ability in a fun, creative and inclusive way. Since April 2020 we estimate that Liddy has taught close to 500 online art sessions!
